Top 5 Mix Compilations of 2009

Another top notch year for mixes, heres my list for 2009:

Top Mix Albums

1. Electronic Architecture mixed by Solarstone

The best mix album this year by farrr. Excellent blend of relatively obscured tracks picked out from nowhere culminating in e a stunning, immersive beauty, this is aural pleasure at its finest.

2. Toronto 09 mixed by Markus Schulz

Chock full of (at that time) future hits, blended together, very awesome and alive especially culminating with the vocal monster "Nothing at All" towards the end which was simply epic.

3. Streamlined 09 Buenos Aires mixed by Leon Bolier

Very awesome first disc with relatively obscure gems which flow seamlessly from one track to another for a nice progressive journey, and then wham right from the leftfield comes the over-the-top violin strings of Fluxx & Lola – Romance which completely warps everything up but which also makes it so epic!
2nd disc is awesome too, riding the wave from one great track to another for a very Dutch-trance sound, awesome stuff.

4. Intercity 09 mixed by Lange

Any album that ends with happiness happening is guaranteed to give u a happy happening. Fantastic 1st CD with all round quality throughout, sensual yet energetic and finishing in the most epic way possible. 2nd CD is slightly disappointing but the epicness of the 1st disc is soo good and thats why its one of my top CDs of 2009

5. Mr Sam - Opus Tertio

A 2CD mix chock full of solid progessive productions that takes one into a very immersive journey.
