Vocal Trance

Soaring female vocals accompanying uplifting rifts and progressive melodies. There are those who claim that vocal tracks are cheese and indeed there are many cheesy vocals floating around, but pretty much it is proven that vocals give tracks a distinctive character that edges them over non-vocal tracks.

Many encore tracks / ending tracks in a trance-set end with a vocal track pretty much turning the dance floor into a mass karaoke session, the kind of euphoria that gives is hardly replicated for a non vocal track however outstanding withstanding.

Between Male and Female vocals, it is of my opinion that female vocals suit the flavour of trance/progressive (and house for that matter) far more than male vocals. In fact, I do slightly suspect that the only reason for male vocals (which are a relatively more recent phenomenon than female vocal tracks) is catered specifically for the predominantly male dominated hardcore trance community (easier on their vocal chords).
